Description

As an Operations Analyst at SpaceX, you will work hands-on with the production team to develop strategy, key metrics, and processes to assess production health, and create automation to drive program-level decision-making. You'll design factory layouts, optimize process flows, and conduct data analysis to improve the world's most advanced rocket engine factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or industrial project management
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, or Python/R for analysis or modeling dynamic systems
• Experience with inventory, production, and capacity planning
• Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends when needed

Responsibilities

• Design and implement factory standards (visual queuing, lineside equipment, space allocations)
• Design and optimize factory layouts using SketchUp
• Identify operational challenges, determine root cause, and develop solutions
• Perform continuous improvements for production processes, quality, and build times
• Develop and track key performance indicators for production system health
