💼 About This Role

You'll join a distributed systems-focused SRE team at Abridge, working to improve performance, stability, and scalability of our AI-powered healthcare platform. Your core impact will be building load testing and chaos engineering into CI pipelines and driving software-level scalability improvements. You'll also evangelize platform engineering across the organization and externally.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using load testing and chaos engineering.
• Rehome applications onto new scalable infrastructure at the code level.
• Build developer tools and software modules to accelerate engineering velocity.
• Establish SLOs, error budgets, and automated canary releases with application teams.

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems or tooling.
• At least 2 years as a back-end engineer focused on system performance and scalability.
• Experience building on Kubernetes and scaling compute services with cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with backend languages such as Python, GoLang, Node, or Rust.
