💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement scalable data infrastructure for Spotify's cost and carbon intelligence platform. Your work will underpin decisions that optimize spend and reduce climate impact, enabling sustainable growth. You'll partner with Data Scientists, Engineering, and Finance to build robust data architectures that power executive reporting and forecasting initiatives.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement scalable data infrastructure for cost and carbon intelligence
• Own end-to-end data pipelines for cloud cost, usage, and emissions data
• Set technical direction for data modeling, orchestration, and observability
• Build curated datasets for executive reporting and forecasting

📋 Requirements

• Senior data engineer with experience owning production-critical data systems
• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, DBT, and orchestration frameworks
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred)

• Experience with financial, billing, or usage data
• Experience with Spark, Flink, or Dataflow
