💼 About This Role

You'll monitor and secure the Tripadvisor Experiences platform as the first line of defense. You'll respond to security incidents in real-time and automate defenses using AWS and scripting. This role blends proactive security engineering with reactive incident response.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure and application logs
• Respond to security incidents like data breaches or app-layer attacks
• Build and maintain security monitoring and alerting capabilities
• Automate security operations tasks using Python or Go

📋 Requirements

• AWS security operations experience in a production environment
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Incident response full lifecycle experience
• Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash for automation

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Knowledge of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
• Ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency
