Description

As a Robotic Software Engineer, you will design and integrate complex autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems. You'll work on hardware-software integration, deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL, and live test environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for defense and commercial customers. This role involves troubleshooting, system validation, and supporting live flight tests on UAVs.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience with robotic systems
• Proficiency in C++ programming
• Experience with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4)
• Experience with communication bus protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet

Responsibilities

• Adapt and develop modular autonomy capabilities for diverse defense problems
• Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and hardware platforms
• Troubleshoot complex integration and software issues for high reliability and performance
• Support live flight test of autonomy software on group 1-5 UAVs
• Conduct system-level testing and validation including SIL and HIL evaluations
