💼 About This Role

You'll create shareable content for TV, social media, and mobile at WKYC-TV, a TEGNA NBC station in Cleveland. You'll capture compelling video and audio to tell news, sports, and feature stories under daily deadlines. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge editing tools and live news-gathering technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Capture video and audio for compelling news and feature stories
• Operate ENG truck or IP video-based live unit
• Work solo or in a team for daily news assignments
• Attend editorial meetings and suggest story ideas

📋 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a newsroom environment
• Experience in photojournalism, editing, and content management systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate news gathering vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (occasionally 80 lbs)

✨ Nice to Have

• BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field
• Knowledge of EDIUS or other non-linear editing system
• Member of NPPA
