Description

You will lead the on-site operational excellence of our data centre facility, guiding a team of technicians through hardware diagnostics, repairs, and installations to maximize uptime. This hands-on role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, responding to technical emergencies, and developing best practices for critical infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data centre operations with 2+ years in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure (servers, networking, cooling systems)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Proficiency with Linux Operating System
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data centre technicians in daily operations including server maintenance and troubleshooting
• Develop and implement best practices for data centre operations to maximize efficiency and uptime
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support client projects and ensure seamless service delivery
• Perform regular inspections and audits of data centre equipment to maintain performance and reliability
• Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
