💼 About This Role

You'll design and code the backend of CockroachDB, a distributed SQL database. Your work will make CockroachDB scalable and consistent for innovative companies. Even after your internship, your code will live on in our open source repo.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, code, and test backend of distributed database CockroachDB.
• Complete a project shared with the entire Engineering organization.
• Work closely with engineers and product managers across cloud and database teams.
• Meet regularly with Mentor and Manager to get feedback.

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing Computer Science or related technical field, graduating in 2027.
• Exposure to distributed systems, concurrency control, data replication, or SQL processing.
• Comfortable with Go, C/C++, Java, or Python.
• Past experience working on production-level code.
