💼 About This Role

You'll own the backend systems powering agentic workflows for conversational AI. You'll collaborate across research and product teams to enable rapid iteration and high reliability. This role directly impacts the pace of product development and stability of production systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend systems for agentic workflows
• Operate high-availability inference and conversation pipelines
• Build internal platform pieces like service templates and CI/CD
• Partner with applied researchers and frontend engineers on features

📋 Requirements

• 10-15 years of backend engineering experience in cloud environments
• Experience building and operating agentic AI systems in production
• Strong production experience with Python, Postgres, Redis, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Practical experience with LLM application patterns like RAG and tool use

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph
• Background in streaming, queueing, or vector data infrastructure
• Past on-call ownership of customer-facing services with strict SLOs
