Description

You will design plumbing and fire protection systems for new construction and renovation projects in sectors like education, healthcare, and corporate commercial. Working under a licensed engineer, you'll use Revit/BIM modeling, coordinate with project teams, and support construction administration. This role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects at a design-driven firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
• Minimum of 6+ years of related experience
• CPD, PE, or FPE license preferred; LEED accreditation preferred
• Proficiency in Revit and HVAC design software (e.g., Trane Trace or 3D Plus)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Design ductwork, piping, and equipment for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings from schematic to construction administration
• Edit specifications and respond to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings for compliance
• Conduct site visits, attend OAC meetings, and coordinate project activities
• May supervise or provide project management direction within the mechanical discipline
