Description

You will serve as the mechanical and electromechanical architect for next-generation Peloton hardware, leading advanced development for new categories from concept to prototype. You'll translate ambiguous customer needs into tangible prototypes, drive cross-functional excellence, and influence product strategy through data-driven technical authority.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hardware experience with complex consumer electronics and motion systems
• Proven zero-to-one track record navigating ambiguity and validating technical pathways
• Ability to communicate complex engineering challenges to senior stakeholders
• High competency in manufacturing processes, DFx, and tolerance analysis
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced development for new hardware categories, defining system architecture and mechanisms
• Translate product aspirations into engineering requirements documents prioritizing safety and manufacturability
• Drive cross-functional teams through trade-offs and deliver high-fidelity prototypes
• Partner with suppliers and leadership for feasibility studies and go/no-go recommendations
• Provide technical mentorship to cross-functional teams
