Description

As a software engineer on the SpaceX team, you will develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and the simulations to validate them. You will own all aspects of software development, from design to testing and integration, working with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure your code is viable. Every day, you'll push the limits of what's possible through innovation and teamwork to make humanity multiplanetary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related engineering discipline
• Graduating with bachelor's, master's, or PhD in 2026 or 2027
• Proven skills in C++, Rust, or other systems programming language

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable autonomous software systems and simulations to validate them
• Own all aspects of software development including design, testing, and integration
• Work with counterpart engineering teams to develop launch and vehicle software
• Rigorously explore solutions for unsolved problems
• See software through all aspects of its life cycle
