💼 About This Role

You'll help upgrade backend architecture and mentor engineers in an impact-driven higher education platform. Your work will directly shape the next stage of Stellic's evolution. You'll own large-scale data processing and API design while collaborating closely with founders and product managers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and lead implementation of scalable backend architectures
• Build and maintain clean, ergonomic APIs
• Optimize database schemas and queries for terabytes of data
• Mentor other engineers in best practices and code quality

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience at scale
• Deep experience with Python/Django or similar high-level frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL databases and complex queries (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with cloud deployment on AWS and hyperscalers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ElasticSearch search engines
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like AWS CodeDeploy
• Experience with data orchestration (Dagster, Airflow)
