Description

As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer on Starlink, you will own the entire lifecycle of satellite hardware, from system design and schematic capture through PCB layout and testing. You'll collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-performance electronics that power the world's largest satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
• 8+ years of experience designing circuits or electronic products
• Experience with mixed-signal circuit boards, FPGAs, Ethernet, high-speed interfaces
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C/C++)
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test highly reliable satellite communications electronics
• Evaluate third-party electrical and design integration solutions
• Partner with software, mechanical, thermal, and production test teams
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, and PCB layout
• Support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight
