Description

You will lead development for healthcare data platforms, designing scalable data pipelines in AWS and driving technical excellence. You'll innovate with big data tools, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• 15+ years IT experience, 2+ years with AWS including serverless architecture
• 6+ years with Big Data frameworks (EMR, Spark, Airflow)
• Strong programming in Python and Java/Scala preferred
• Experience with large healthcare datasets, EDI, FHIR
• Experience with microservices, event-based architectures, and CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and access patterns in healthcare
• Evaluate and implement new technologies for high-volume data processing in AWS
• Design and implement distributed data processing pipelines using big data tools
• Drive collaborative reviews of designs, code, and test plans
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration and trust
