Description

You will lead the design of HVAC systems for large-scale buildings in sectors like education, healthcare, and corporate commercial. You'll work independently on complex mechanical engineering tasks, mentor less experienced staff, and interface directly with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years related experience
• Current PE in the United States
• Experience with Revit and Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Codes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for HVAC systems
• Oversee and mentor designers and engineering team
• Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of HVAC construction drawings
• Specify mechanical equipment (boilers, chillers, air handling units)
• Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with specifications
