💼 About This Role

You'll lead the architecture and delivery of high-impact internal web applications that power deal lifecycle, pricing, and forecasting workflows at Confluent. Your work will directly enable data-driven decision making across Sales, Finance, and Customer teams. You'll shape technical strategy and mentor engineers while building pragmatic, maintainable solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and implementation of internal web applications for deal lifecycle and pricing.
• Own cross-team technical initiatives from design through rollout and evolution.
• Design microservices, APIs, and data models integrating with Salesforce and data platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business problems into technical strategies.

📋 Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Go, Java, or similar plus modern JavaScript (React).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and event streaming (e.g., Kafka).
• Proven track record architecting internal or B2B applications with complex workflows.
