Description

You will ensure all aspects of critical transport and lift operations for Falcon vehicles and ground support equipment are properly designed, reviewed, and executed. You will address structural, civil, and mechanical issues, providing engineering disposition to keep operations safe and efficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and structural hardware
• Experience with crane lifting, rigging, or transport operations preferred
• Familiarity with Roll-On, Roll-Off barge operations preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanics: statics, dynamics, materials science, failure modes

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and execute critical lifts and heavy-haul transports for large-scale hardware
• Develop critical lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations using computational tools
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess hardware mass properties and load paths
• Develop rework work order dispositions for maintenance and equipment upgrades
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and fatigue/stress analyses for transport and lifts
