💼 About This Role

You'll join Xona's spacecraft hardware team in Montréal to design and test electro-mechanical subsystems for satellite flight systems. You'll own subsystem design authority and contribute from early prototyping to full-scale manufacturing. This role combines electrical design and hands-on lab testing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own subsystem design authority for assigned hardware.
• Design electro-mechanical subsystems with focus on dynamic and electrodynamic systems.
• Collaborate on integrated rotor/bearing/housing designs.
• Assist with electrical design, sensor circuits, and power conditioning.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience leading electrical hardware design from concept to MVP.
• Familiarity with Altium and mechanical CAD for electromechanical integration.
• Experience designing motor drives or sensor electronics for precision mechanisms.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with precision robotics.
• Experience with electric motors and high-speed rotary assemblies.
• Exposure to spacecraft systems or ADCS hardware.
