💼 About This Role

You'll act as the independent guardian of personal data privacy at Coins EU, a growing digital asset platform expanding across the EU. You'll monitor GDPR compliance, advise on data protection risks, and liaise with supervisory authorities. This role offers the chance to define the privacy governance framework for a leading crypto platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor internal compliance with GDPR and national data protection laws
• Advise on data protection impact assessments and privacy-by-design practices
• Serve as primary contact for EU data protection supervisory authorities
• Conduct internal training on data protection principles and GDPR responsibilities

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience as a DPO or in a senior privacy role
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and EU data protection law
• Familiarity with privacy risks in digital finance or crypto
• Fluency in English; additional EU languages are a plus

✨ Nice to Have

• Legal degree or CIPP/E, CIPM, or similar certification
• Experience working with or for national data protection authorities
• Understanding of AML frameworks and data retention
