Description

You will be the primary point of contact for Couchbase customers, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on their deployments. You'll work with NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, and Docker, while educating customers and contributing to knowledge bases.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years experience troubleshooting backend infrastructure applications (databases, application servers, cloud)
  • Strong Unix/Linux administration skills
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed high-performance systems

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and solve customer issues on-prem and cloud deployments
  • Engage with customers via ticketing and screen sharing to resolve technical requests and educate them on product use
  • Reproduce customer cases by writing or modifying code or simulating node failures
  • Become product expert and stay up-to-date on new features; write technical articles and knowledge-base entries
  • Act as single point of contact for strategic customers
