💼 About This Role

You'll design and improve internal tools and infrastructure for a cloud physical security platform at Verkada. You will build systems that empower developers and support teams, enhancing security, privacy, and efficiency. This role is fully on-site at the San Mateo HQ.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement cloud-based tools for developer productivity
• Improve licensing management and feature flag systems
• Break down the monolith support tool into smaller services
• Contribute to open-source systems used by Verkada

📋 Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or similar field
• Experience with Python and/or Go
• Experience with a major cloud platform (preferably AWS)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with a service mesh like Istio
