Description
You will partner with site leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, drive talent management, champion culture, handle employee relations, lead change management, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced cannabis production facility. This is a full-time on-site role based in Centreville, Maryland.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or Organizational Development; SPHR/PHR/SHRM certification preferred.
- 7+ years of strategic HR Business Partner experience with market-leading companies and COE structures.
- Experience supporting production, distribution, or high-growth fast-paced environments.
- Experience with large populations of hourly employees and union environments strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence confidently.
Responsibilities
- Identify talent needs and gaps, strategize with leaders to maximize performance through career development, succession planning, and evaluations.
- Champion and scale company culture to enhance employee engagement.
- Serve as confidential resource for employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and advise leaders.
- Lead change management initiatives, develop communication plans, and mitigate risks.
- Manage administrative routines including new hire orientation, pay changes, data maintenance, and safety compliance.
