💼 About This Role

You'll partner with sales and customers to drive technical adoption of Upbound's Intelligent Control Plane built on Crossplane and Kubernetes. You'll serve as the trusted technical advisor, guiding enterprise customers through design, demos, and proof-of-concepts. This role offers direct impact on a fast-growing open-source project used by Fortune 500 companies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with Account Executives on technical discussions throughout sales lifecycle.
• Create and deliver custom demos, presentations, and sample solutions.
• Guide customers in designing and implementing Crossplane and Upbound Cloud architectures.
• Define and test early proof-of-concepts with customers.

📋 Requirements

• Pre-sales or consulting experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and deploying Kubernetes to production.
• Deep understanding of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps.

✨ Nice to Have

• Contributions to upstream Kubernetes community.
• History of speaking at tech conferences or writing technical articles.
• Previous startup or distributed team experience.
