Description

Lead the Behavioral team at Movable Ink, turning raw customer signals into meaningful marketing triggers. You'll blend technical and people leadership to build scalable systems that process high-volume event data and power real-time marketing decisions, collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive key initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering, including 3-5 years managing engineers
• Player-coach leadership style, comfortable with hands-on technical contribution
• Experience designing distributed or event-driven systems with stateful services
• Proven success building scalable backend services in cloud environments (preferably GCP)
• Strong focus on operational excellence with monitoring, alerting, and incident response

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers building behavioral decisioning capabilities
• Partner with Product to define and evolve the roadmap for behavioral decisioning capabilities
• Drive initiatives from idea to delivery, translating product goals into technical plans
• Lead development of services transforming raw activity signals into actionable trigger events
• Ensure behavioral services operate reliably at scale using observability and metrics
