💼 About This Role

You'll lead a new scrum team building the B2B data lake and data products at Agoda. You'll enable financial reporting and operational analytics across the organization. This role offers relocation to Bangkok with visa sponsorship.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own the full lifecycle for the data lake including ingestion, storage, and access provisioning.
• Define data models, schema standards, and partitioning/retention strategies for financial reporting.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to create clean, reproducible datasets.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery governance for the scrum team.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience building large-scale data platforms or data lakes.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Vertica.
• Hands-on experience with data governance and cataloguing tools like AWS Glue or Amundsen.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
• Experience in B2B or financial data domains.
• Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau or Looker.
