Description

You will join a new team building intuitive and secure crypto products and services for SoFi members, including investing, transfers, payments, and custody. You'll own the full product lifecycle, architect systems, write production-grade backend code, and mentor engineers while shaping the technical strategy for our crypto stack.

Requirements

• 8+ years programming experience with modern languages and AI tools
• Expert in building large-scale fault-tolerant distributed systems with Java/Spring/Kotlin/PostgreSQL/AWS
• Deep understanding of microservices deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD
• Knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, digital assets across major chains (Bitcoin, Ethereum)
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Write production-grade scalable backend code using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot
• Design and maintain high-scale, real-time crypto services with focus on performance, security, and reliability
• Drive technical architecture across wallets, custody, trading, and other crypto products
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical growth and curiosity
• Lead cross-team discussions and technical decisions with senior leadership
