Description

You will perform designs of piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems for building design, working under senior engineers on complex projects and independently on smaller ones. You will prepare calculations and production drawings, review shop drawings, and interface with clients and team members. This is a mid-level role for candidates with at least 4 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 4+ years of related experience
• CPD, PE in Mechanical or FPE preferred
• LEED accreditation preferred
• Proficiency in Revit

Responsibilities

• Perform designs of piping and equipment selection for plumbing and fire protection systems
• Prepare calculations and production drawings from schematic to construction phases
• Specify plumbing and fire protection equipment (sprinkler, sewerage, medical gas)
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specifications and contract documents
• Interface with clients and project team members, attend OAC meetings
