Description

You will provide patient care including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, safety, and documentation as directed. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, turning and repositioning patients, and ensuring proper use of equipment. You'll work across various Bethesda communities, requiring both MO and IL CNA certification.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in Missouri and Illinois
• Two years experience required, three preferred
• Long-term care and rehab experience required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift heavy objects with proper techniques
• Ability to transfer and move patients weighing 200+ lbs with assistance

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care related to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety
• Document patient care in records; obtain and record height, weight, vital signs
• Answer call lights promptly; complete rounds as assigned
• Turn and reposition residents every 2 hours; reposition seated residents every hour
• Measure intake and output; report to Charge Nurse at shift change
