Join the Menu Team at CookUnity to build and optimize backend services and APIs that power the menu experience. You'll work on Server-Driven UI services in a BFF architecture, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to customer-facing products that directly impact user engagement.

Requirements

• 3+ years backend development with Node.js and TypeScript
• 3+ years experience with ReactJS and TypeScript web apps
• Expertise in Kotlin or other JVM-based language
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and BFF architecture
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and query optimization

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for menu experience
• Implement and optimize Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layer for low-latency responses
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and product teams on new menu features
• Optimize database queries and caching strategies
• Improve monitoring, observability, and logging for backend services
