💼 About This Role

You'll lead day-to-day operations of a Last Energy nuclear facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations. You'll collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership while maintaining clear authority at the site level. This role offers the chance to oversee DOE readiness reviews and work on first-of-a-kind small modular reactors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Be on call 24/7 and accountable for overall facility operation
• Oversee test campaigns with engineering team in Austin
• Manage on-site staff and contractors
• Prepare for and oversee DOE readiness reviews

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related technical field
• Demonstrated experience leading a research facility or small industrial plant
• Strong understanding of industrial safety frameworks and Conduct of Operations
• Proven ability to lead teams in safety-critical environments
