You will drive high-impact product partnership initiatives with card networks like Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, negotiating commercial agreements and influencing product and partner strategies to deliver new capabilities for businesses using Stripe.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or corporate development
- 5+ years experience in payments or card networks
- Thorough understanding of card network dynamics and business models
- Experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence C-level stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Drive new product partnership innovation with card network partners, focusing on joint initiatives and new offerings for Stripe users
- Negotiate commercial agreements impacting payments acceptance costs
- Craft partnership and product strategies and execute deals supporting Stripe's strategy
- Influence internal product teams and external stakeholders to build innovative solutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury) to drive execution
