You'll design, administer, and optimize PostgreSQL databases in on-premises and cloud environments for mission-critical federal applications. You'll take deep technical ownership of database platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and security under constant operational demand. This role supports highly visible systems within the highest levels of government.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, administer, and optimize databases in on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, replication, and recovery.
• Enforce access controls, auditing, governance, and retention policies.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and support containerized database operations.

📋 Requirements

• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship).
• 5+ years of experience as a DBA or engineer focused on PostgreSQL.
• DoD 8140 certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC).
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery for PostgreSQL.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
