💼 About This Role

You'll partner with the Vice President of Underwriting and Account Management to support complex health and welfare programs. You'll drive renewal strategy, analyze claims data, and ensure accuracy across underwriting deliverables for fully insured and self-insured clients. This role is integral to a fast-growing insurance brokerage and offers a competitive compensation package.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze carrier renewals and manage carrier interactions
• Review proposals and underwriting materials for accuracy
• Develop self-insured budgets and premium equivalent rates
• Prepare fully insured pre-renewal projections and financial models

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of underwriting experience with health and welfare carrier or brokerage
• In-depth knowledge of carrier processes, plan designs, and funding arrangements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to support employer groups of 100+ lives

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with stop-loss contracts
• Knowledge of self-insured budgeting
