💼 About This Role

You'll lead a Product Analytics team at the Wikimedia Foundation reporting to the Senior Director of Research and Decision Science. Your team provides actionable data and insights to guide product decisions across the Wikimedia ecosystem. This role offers the chance to shape data culture in a mission-driven organization that operates Wikipedia.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Deliver accurate quantitative insights to inform product strategy and decisions.
• Manage a team of seven data scientists with a collaborative culture.
• Mentor team on critical thinking, storytelling, and technical skills.
• Collaborate with engineering to build accessible data products and tools.

📋 Requirements

• Deep experience with experimental design and statistics applied to internet-scale data.
• Experience collaborating with product development teams in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience as a people manager.
• Experience with large-scale data tools like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, and Spark.

• Exposure to ethical data management and privacy practices.
