Description

You will serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge at a specialty pharmacy in Lufkin, TX, overseeing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with providers to optimize medication access and patient outcomes for specialty medications.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
• Active pharmacist license eligible to become PIC in state of employment
• Leadership experience in a pharmacy, PIC experience preferred
• Experience with specialty medication benefits, prior authorization, and financial assistance
• Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for licensure and regulatory oversight
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and patient safety protocols
• Lead audits, maintain records, and coordinate regulatory responses
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff to ensure quality and compliance
