Description

You will join Affirm's Servicing International team to build foundational platforms for global expansion, focusing on purchase protection like disputes and refunds. Collaborate with European and global engineering teams to create scalable solutions and help launch products into new international markets.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, or similar, with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Exposure to building web apps with declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue
• Ability to define technical plans for significant features with elegant and extensible design
• Strong communication skills for global collaboration

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on product development
• Identify and resolve project, process, technology, or business issues
• Support operations and availability via monitoring and on-call rotation
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards
