You will work on high-visibility initiatives that define the future of age-appropriate communication at Roblox, building and maintaining a social ecosystem that ensures safe, civil, and meaningful interactions. You will own projects end to end, design creator-facing APIs, and collaborate with multiple teams to integrate systems. Your work will directly impact our global community and support the company's top-line growth.

Requirements

• Undergraduate/graduate degree in computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience as a frontend or client apps engineer working on complex user interfaces
• Experience working on large-scale consumer applications in React/Redux, React Native, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS and other platforms
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including tools like Jest, React Testing Library or other comparable technologies
• Versatile, creative, team-oriented, and responsible

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a multi-functional team including product, design, UXR, frontend and backend engineering
• Own projects end to end, from design and architecture to launch and iteration
• Design creator-facing APIs that empower Roblox creators to unlock new ways to co-experience for their users
• Partner with other engineering teams to integrate multiple systems in a reusable, performant and safe manner
• Identify gaps in performance, testing, and experimentation workflows, and lead improvements
