Description

You will analyze large datasets to uncover insights about corporate spending and business behavior, creating narratives and benchmark reports that establish Brex as an authority in the space. You'll collaborate with Content, PR, and Data teams to publish thought-leading research and engage with media.

Requirements

• 7+ years in research, analysis, narrative development, and journalism in finance/business/tech
• Experience analyzing markets and data from multiple sources
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for storytelling analysis
• Demonstrated ability to publish high-quality research in economics or finance
• Strong communication skills for translating technical findings to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Conduct original economic research using Brex and external datasets
• Identify and translate data stories into compelling narratives for founders, CFOs, and media
• Partner with PR and marketing to craft external reports and benchmarks
• Serve as public voice on economic insights, engaging with media
• Package stories for distribution via social, video, and design channels
