Description

You will lead the design and development of a next-generation web-based trading platform for power users, working cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and AI teams. This hands-on role involves mentoring engineers, setting technical direction, and scaling the product as Robinhood expands into new asset types and global markets.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience leading product-focused teams
• Strong foundation in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Deep understanding of web architecture for modular, scalable systems
• Proven ability to grow engineers through mentorship and feedback

Responsibilities

• Lead a team building Legend's next-generation trading experiences for web and desktop
• Set and communicate technical direction aligned with product strategy
• Partner cross-functionally with design, product, AI, and infrastructure teams
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment
• Make architectural decisions and foster a culture of high-quality code
