💼 About This Role

You'll join the Borrower Experience team at Upstart to build and evolve AI-powered servicing experiences across web, mobile, and conversational channels. You'll lead the design of scalable full-stack solutions that improve payment success and reduce borrower friction. This role offers the chance to shape a cohesive, trusted post-origination experience for millions of borrowers using advanced AI and experimentation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deliver borrower-facing features across web, mobile, and AI-powered experiences.
• Translate servicing workflows into intuitive, scalable product experiences to reduce friction.
• Build and maintain full-stack systems integrating backend services with modern frontend frameworks.
• Drive experimentation through A/B testing, analytics, and observability tools.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent) plus 4 years of experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages and modern development frameworks.
• Experience designing and building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems in a cloud environment.
