Description

You will join the Forward Deployed Engineering team to link application modernization projects with Product and Engineering, using generative AI tools to accelerate legacy transformations. Your role includes evaluating, building, and applying tools in customer modernization initiatives, providing feedback to drive MongoDB's roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as field engineer, professional services consultant, or full stack developer with enterprise clients
• Proficiency in Java or C#
• Strong knowledge of enterprise-scale software architectures and deployment
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, PostgreSQL) and SQL
• Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer application modernization initiatives across the application lifecycle
• Test drive MongoDB migration products and deliver feedback to development organization
• Work with Product and Engineering to influence product roadmap
• Execute POCs including developing or extending tools for customer success
• Assist sales teams in evaluating opportunities
