Description

You will lead a DevX Architecture team focused on accelerating developer productivity and delivering architectural improvements at CarGurus. You'll own projects end-to-end, partner with engineers and leaders across teams, and drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve our core architecture and platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years software design and development building production systems
• 3+ years as Engineering Manager or equivalent technical leadership
• Experience with large-scale web applications and modern architectures
• Hands-on with strongly typed backend languages (Java, C#) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Experience with modern AI tools for developer experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing DevX engineering team
• Set architectural direction for developer experience
• Own roadmap of technical investments to maximize impact
• Partner with engineers and product to design pragmatic solutions
• Lead full software development lifecycle for services and tools
