You'll define the technical direction for Vast's internal AI platforms and lead development of full-stack AI applications. Your work will directly support the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. You'll collaborate across teams to establish engineering best practices and ensure production-grade AI systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define technical direction and roadmap for AI platforms and tooling
• Architect and lead development of full-stack AI applications
• Establish engineering best practices for AI systems development
• Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or engineering
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Full-stack development proficiency across frontend and backend
• AI/ML concepts and LLM architecture expertise

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Python and TypeScript in production
• Experience with Svelte or SvelteKit
• Experience with OpenWebUI or similar AI interface platforms
