Requirements

Valid California Teaching Credential in Math, Industrial and Technology Education, Physics, or Supplementary Authorization
CLAD/EL Authorization
Experience teaching or working with K-8 students
Familiarity with LEGO Robotics, VEX, Arduino, or similar platforms
Degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

Teach robotics classes using age-appropriate tools and programming
Coach and mentor FIRST LEGO League teams
Plan and organize the annual Maker Fair
Integrate STEM and design thinking into interdisciplinary projects
Manage robotics kits, maker tools, and classroom resources
