💼 About This Role

You'll provide technical leadership for the platform enabling real-time voice communications at massive scale for Fortnite and the Epic Games ecosystem. You'll help define the technical direction of Epic's WebRTC-based products and implement features from design to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge real-time communication technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Integrate WebRTC across Epic Games teams and implement new features
• Design and improve client/server WebRTC infrastructure on all platforms
• Research and evaluate new technologies for real-time communication innovation
• Manage timelines, resolve technical blockers, and deliver projects autonomously

📋 Requirements

• Excellent C++ skills with strong performance-critical systems experience
• Deep understanding of WebRTC signaling, protocols, and technical structure
• Proven experience debugging and optimizing large-scale WebRTC stacks
• Experience designing and maintaining C APIs for cross-platform distribution
