💼 About This Role

You'll be the first line of defense for the Tripadvisor Experiences platform, blending proactive security engineering with reactive incident response. You'll live and breathe in our product's cloud environment, monitoring for threats and automating defenses, working closely with engineering teams to build a more resilient platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor and investigate security alerts from AWS infrastructure and application logs.
• Respond to security incidents affecting the Tripadvisor Experiences application.
• Automate security monitoring and alerting using scripting languages.
• Conduct threat modeling for new features to identify risks before production.

📋 Requirements

• Hands-on experience securing a production environment in AWS.
• Proficiency with Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Proven experience with the full lifecycle of security incidents.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 web application vulnerabilities.
• Ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency.
