💼 About This Role

You'll join the Diagnostics team within Unity's LiveOps umbrella, building systems that help developers understand how their games behave in the wild through crash reports and telemetry. You will lead end-to-end design across ingest, pipelines, and ClickHouse-based storage, and partner with multiple teams to shape how the team uses AI coding agents. This is a small, autonomous team where your senior judgment will directly influence design and shipping norms.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design across ingest, pipelines, ClickHouse storage, and dashboards.
• Write and maintain high-quality Go services handling attacker-controlled inputs at scale.
• Raise the bar on code review and AI-assisted output review with coding agents.
• Partner with Data, IAP, Profiler, and DevX teams on production-grade integrations.
• Mentor engineers and decompose ambiguous problems into actionable paths.

📋 Requirements

• Production experience with Go in high-throughput services.
• Proven senior-level judgment in leading cross-cutting design and mentoring peers.
• Hands-on fluency with agentic AI workflows (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.).
• Experience designing for and querying NoSQL or OLAP/columnar data stores (ClickHouse a plus).

✨ Nice to Have

• Interest in observability and telemetry with OpenTelemetry.
• Front-end experience with TypeScript and dashboard-style surfaces.
• Production experience with Kotlin, C#, or gaming background.
