You'll design and operate the control-plane services that orchestrate customer-facing Grafana Cloud stacks at scale. Your core impact is ensuring reliable stack creation, safe configuration rollout, and predictable migrations across cloud regions. This role sits at the intersection of product, platform, and operations for a fast-growing open-source company serving over 20 million users.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build reconciliation systems to detect and repair stack configuration drift
• Collaborate across teams to ensure stack lifecycle workflows are reliable and observable
• Improve incident response and recovery paths for stack misalignment and failures
• Contribute to roadmap planning and long-term simplification of stack operations

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Go or a similar systems programming language
• Experience designing and operating control-plane or reconciliation systems
• Proven ability to debug across multiple service boundaries in production

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki
• Contributions to open-source projects
