💼 About This Role

You'll lead the Smart Signals team at Fingerprint, a 100% remote fraud detection company. Your team produces critical signals (bot detection, incognito detection) that directly impact ARR. You'll own delivery, people leadership, and technical strategy while partnering with ML engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead team of 8–10 engineers with 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development.
• Own sprint planning, roadmap delivery, and tradeoff decisions.
• Stay technically grounded to review designs and challenge architecture.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and represent team in engineering discussions.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years managing a team of 8–10 engineers.
• Technical depth in backend production systems at scale.
• Delivery track record with concrete outcomes and numbers.
• Cross-functional collaboration with PMs and research partners.
